When I was nine years old, I begged my parents, friends, and anyone else who would listen for one specific Christmas gift: a digital camera. For the next two years, my tiny-but-mighty neon blue Canon PowerShot, powered by two Double A batteries, followed me everywhere I went. When I was gifted my first real DSLR, a Canon 70D at thirteen years old, my passion didn't change: capture life's everyday moments from the eyes of those who've lived them. This is why Through Your Lens exists today.
Over the past ten years as a college student, grad school student, and full-time professional, I've offered photography services to friends and family, giving me the great privilege to capture life's greatest moments, including high school and college graduations, wedding engagements, performances and events, and professional headshots for job interviews. I believe strongly that the best person to tell your story is you, and being able to encapsulate your feelings into my photos is my goal for each of my projects. Whether you're excited about an upcoming event or feel nervous about a life change, I hope you'll choose me as your photographer to create memories you'll want to look back on.
